Experience 500 years of history at the Okinawa Cultural Performance in the Ernst Cultural Center Theater, Northern Virginia Community College Annandale Campus, on Saturday March 30th, 2013 at 2:00 pm.

The two hour stage show includes live performances of classical court dances, invigorating folk dances, colorful costumes and kimono's, fascinating musical instruments and songs, and spectacular Karate from the tropical island of Okinawa, Japan.

The event will include an exhibit area of fine Okinawa textiles, pottery, and exquisite lacquerware, The purpose of the show is to present Okinawa cultural arts to the community in the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. area in a way that maintains its authenticity, attractiveness, diversity, and uniqueness.
